Downtown bursts with fun activities for kids and adults alike. Enjoy live stage entertainment, carnival, festival food, the Vendor Fair, Bingo, the BPQ Cook-Off, as well as the Vintage Car and Bike Show.
The Downtown Festival (previously known as Tulip Time) has celebrated 35 years of springtime tradition in downtown Belle Plaine and is dedicated to fostering the spirit and growth of the community. We are a volunteer-organized festival whose mission is to improve existing events and identify new ideas that will be innovative, creative and entertaining; as well as cultivate enduring collaboration, fellowship, and participation by being attentive to community's interests, needs, and quality of life.
