Description: | From 14th annual WYCO Ethnic Festival Website: KCKCC hosted the 13th annual Wyandotte County Ethnic Festival April 14. This was the best year ever with an estimated 1,110 people who attended the event. More than 60 organizations, countries and ethnic groups from Wyandotte County were represented through entertainment, booths and food. In addition, Dr. Ewa Unoke, associate professor of political science/peace studies, editor of KCKCC's E-Journal and director of the Henry M. Louis Center for Global Transitional Justice at KCKCC and Ed Chasteen, professor sociology at William Jewell College were presented with the Legends of Diversity Award. Be sure to save the date for next year's event - April 13, 2019!
