Since 1986, Belle Plaine, KS welcomes thousands of visitors to this two day event downtown each April. As the largest festival in Sumner county, we offer activities for every age including arboretum tour of 30,000 tulips, athletic competitions, Bingo, BPQ Cook Off, a Car and Bike show with over 100 vintage vehicles, a carnival, contests, festival food, helicopter rides, Kids Fest, a parade, street dance, talent show and a variety of two days of live entertainment.
Shop till you drop at Vendor Fair at the Elementary school and on the streets downtown Belle Plaine, featuring artisan designs, crafts, antiques, repurposed vintage pieces, shabby chic, direct sales, plants, food products, textiles, primitives and commercial goods. Local businesses, antique stores, restaurants, a library and a museum offer more to see and do in Belle Plaine.
