28th Annual Tulip Festival
April 11, 2015 - April 12, 2015

Each spring, the Wamego City Park, downtown, and many home gardens throughout town come alive with the vibrant colors of thousands of tulips. Many of the bulbs for these bright, early spring flowers came from Holland and are the backdrop for this April festival. While Mother Nature is not always predictable as to when Wamegos tulips will bloom, that doesnt stop us from having a festival!

Please join over 150 craft and artisan vendors for the 28th Annual Tulip Festival in Wamego City Park! A family-friendly and fun atmosphere invites thousands of festival-goers every year. Peruse handmade items such as jewelry, purses, pottery, candles, spices, soaps, clothing, childrens toys, copper art, original art & photography, home dcor and re-purposed goods!

Spend the day or weekend at the festival, as we offer a specialty food court with over a dozen food trucks! Funnel cakes, barbeque, stir fry, walking tacos, wood-fired pizza, buffalo burgers and homemade ice cream will be at our Festival, just to name a few!

Kids of all ages will enjoy the Inflatable Bounce House area and Petting Zoo, Climbing Wall, various childrens games, pony rides, petting zoo, as well as learning from the Living Historians and riding on the Wamego City Park Childrens Train! Try your hand at hatchet-throwing at the Tulip Festival! To top off the event, free LIVE entertainment will grace the park all weekend long.

Other Activities During the Tulip Festival:

Horseshoe Tournament: Contact Larry Collette at (***) ***-**** for pitch times and registration. For viewers, the tournament should last during the entire Festival.
