More 5,000 people annually attend the four-day festival known as Greater Andover Days.

The festival includes a food court, KidFest, fun run, a hot dog eating contest, a parade, a fishing clinic, a car show, a pig catch, a business expo / craft fair, an ice cream social, entertainment throughout the day and a fireworks show in the park.

The event also includes a Friday night BYOB tailgate party with live entertainment and a Saturday evening concert with a beer garden. Ottaway Amusement's carnival rides and games are Thursday through Sunday.

Greater Andover Days began in 1967 as an effort "to unify the citizens of Andover through a shared festival experience." All GAD events are located within the Andover Central Park at 1607 E. Central (unless otherwise indicated on the schedule). GAD buttons will be available for sale at local retailers. The $3 button serves as admittance to all the festival fun. Children 5 and younger are free.
